We collect the following categories of information to operate our services effectively and to provide you with the best possible experience:

• Account Information: Information you provide when creating an account, such as your email, username, password, and optional artist profile details. Email verification is required for account creation and access to certain features.
• Payment Information: While we process subscriptions, tips, and song requests through third-party providers (Polar.sh and Venmo, with PayPal support coming soon), we do not store your complete payment details on our servers.
• Location Data: For artist profiles, we may collect city and state information that you choose to provide.
• Fan Interactions: When you submit or receive song requests, tips, and dedications, we collect and share the relevant details to enable that interaction.
• Usage Data: Technical data such as device type, IP address, browser type, and activity logs may be collected for analytics, troubleshooting, and security purposes. This includes QR code scan counts and interaction data when QR codes are used to access artist profiles.
• Cookies and Tracking Tools: We use cookies and similar technologies for login functionality, personalization, and analytics. We use Google Analytics and on-site tracking tools to understand how users interact with our Platform.
• Coupons & Discounts: When using promotional codes, we record redemption details for tracking and fraud prevention.
• Affiliate Tracking: If you were referred by an affiliate, we may log referral IDs and transaction details through our affiliate management provider (e.g., SliceWP).
• Marketing Preferences: When you opt in to receive Brevo-powered product updates, we store your consent status along with the name and email information you provide so we can honor your choices.

We use different types of cookies on our Platform:

• Essential Cookies: These cookies are necessary for the Platform to function and cannot be disabled. They include authentication cookies that allow you to log in and maintain your session. These cookies do not require your consent.
• Analytics Cookies: We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors interact with our Platform. These cookies collect information such as page views, time spent on pages, and navigation patterns. Analytics cookies are optional and require your consent. You can accept or reject these cookies when you first visit our Platform.

You can manage your cookie preferences at any time by clearing the local storage in your browser and revisiting our Platform, which will show the cookie consent banner again. Note that rejecting analytics cookies will not affect your ability to use the Platform.

Cookies are stored for up to 365 days, after which you will be asked to review your preferences again. Essential cookies are automatically renewed as needed for Platform functionality.

We use the information collected to:

• Operate, maintain, and improve the Platform.
• Facilitate artist/fan interactions such as song requests, tips, and bookings.
• Process subscriptions, payments, and promotional codes.
• Send notifications and updates related to your account.
• Send marketing communications you explicitly opt in to receive.
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or technical issues.
• Enforce our Terms & Conditions and comply with legal obligations.

• Artists: Fan request and tip information is shared with the artist receiving it.
• Service Providers: Hosting, analytics, and payment partners may process your data on our behalf. This includes Ably, which provides real-time communication services for live status updates, requests, and set lists.
• Marketing Providers: We use Brevo (formerly Sendinblue) to deliver optional marketing communications. When you opt in, your email and provided name are shared with Brevo solely for that purpose.
• Legal & Safety Reasons: Information may be disclosed where required by law or to protect the safety and rights of users and RQST.

• Free Accounts: Limited to basic artist profiles with no fan transactions.
• Paid Accounts: Include access to Backstage features such as tips, requests, live set lists, gig listings, and booking requests.
• Vanity URLs: Exclusive to paid accounts. If you downgrade, you will forfeit your vanity URL and other paid features.

We retain account data for as long as your account remains active. If you request deletion, your profile and requests will be removed from public view. However, certain records may remain in backups or as required by law.

We use commercially reasonable safeguards to protect your information, though no system is completely secure.

The Platform is not directed toward individuals under 13, or under the minimum digital consent age in your jurisdiction.

• Subscriptions: You may cancel at any time. Subscriptions remain active until the end of the billing cycle but are non-refundable.
• Tips/Requests: All fan tips and song requests are final and non-refundable.
• Account Deletion: Terminating your account cancels your subscription at the end of the current billing period.

Any disputes related to payments are handled through Polar.sh, Venmo, or PayPal. RQST does not mediate chargebacks.

Song requests are discretionary. Artists are under no obligation to perform any specific request.

Artists are solely responsible for ensuring their performances and content comply with copyright law. RQST does not license cover songs or grant copyright permissions. Infringing content may be removed.

We may offer a one-time 7-day free trial of Backstage features. Vanity URLs are excluded from trial access. Unless canceled before the trial ends, your account will automatically convert to a paid subscription.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the latest version.

We only send marketing communications—such as onboarding resources, feature tips, or product announcements—when you opt in within the Platform. Consent is stored in your profile and can be revoked at any time without affecting service access.

These emails are powered by Brevo (formerly Sendinblue). When you opt in, we share your email address and optional name with Brevo solely to deliver those messages. We do not sell or rent mailing list data.

To unsubscribe, use the link included in every marketing email or email hello@rqst.live. You will continue to receive transactional emails (login links, billing notices, critical service alerts) as needed to operate your account.
